Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and are adjusting to the new year. We are busy here at the marina working on all of our maintenance items and planning for the 2012 boating season.
For those that are concerned, we have turned on the bubblers and are keeping the boats free of ice as much as possible. Baby it is COLD down here at the marina but Jeremy and Kelsie are doing a good job of taking care of your boats and the docks. I will be in touch soon with contracts and a list of the summer events and the date of our annual ice breaker. I hope you are enjoying your winter and I hope you are staying warm and cozy. Spring is coming soon and I can’t wait for the boating season to start (Fran and I are running out of things to talk about..HAHA).
If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and say hello. Please don’t hesitate to call if you need anything from any of us here at the marina. Thanks again for all your business… we truly appreciate it!!

Hello Boaters,
Well, in my last letter I posted to all of you, I wished you all a mild winter. It doesn’t look like I got my wish for you! It was a cold and snowy winter. I am a gal that likes the seasons- (all but winter) and this was a rough one for all of us who wintered in the Midwest. So I am now wishing for all of us a sunny, dry spring! (Which so far has not happened but I believe is on its way).
I have a lot of fun events ahead for everyone here at the Marina. Fran will be sending out e-blasts every couple of weeks with reminders of what is in the near future. She will keep you updated with info on the things happening at the marina, in the office, maintenance work being done, along with general FYI’s). In addition, there are some cool concerts at the amphitheater this year that we will keep you informed about. Don’t forget about the monthly block parties! The first one is set for May7th (Derby Day too)!
I am working on trying to get a new key and security system that is affordable for us to obtain. I will keep you updated on this often.
We have a lot of small updates to be done at the marina and Jeremy will be sending you a program outline on all of these items.
Remember, if you have any office issues, please contact Fran in the office. Most weeks, she will be in the office Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. She’ll also be in on Saturdays for the “big event weekends.”
I sure missed seeing you all this winter. I love the hustle and bustle of the summer here. (I am nosey for sure) .
Dig out the flip flops, suits and sunscreen because the season is just around the corner!!
